Searsia chirindensis | Red currant tree for sale | Bostaaibos te koop
Red currant (Bostaaibos) is a medium sized, evergreen (sometimes deciduous) tree that grows at an average rate. It has large (for the Genus) trifoliate, dark-green leaves which cast a dense shade. Female trees bear clusters of red, berry-like fruit, sometimes in profusion. In climates where Searsia chirindensis is deciduous, it exhibits striking red autumn colors. Red currant tolerates light frost and needs modest water. Its root system is mildly aggressive.
