Greyia radlkoferi | Woolly bottlebrush for sale | Wollerige baakhout te koop
Woolly bottlebrush (also known as Transvaal bottlebrush) tolerates light frost but is not drought resistant. It is a deciduous, fast growing, small tree with bright, off-red bottle brush flowers, providing a magnificent show. Greyia radlkoferi's growth pattern is more shrub-like than tree-like. Its root system is not aggressive. Transvaal bottlebrush is less prone to fungal attack than its Natal counterpart (Greyia sutherlandii) and is better adapted to the Highveld climate.
A few gardening ideas:
Greyia radlkoferi small mature size, non-invasive roots and striking flowers make it an ideal candidate for a small garden. Woolley bottlebrush responds well to pruning and does well in a container. Both Greyia species are undiscovered jewels and will give great pleasure to any enthusiastic gardener.
