Ficus sansibarica | Knobbly fig trees for sale | Knoppiesvy
Knobbly fig is named after its interesting trunk. Knobs develop on the trunk and main branches where it previously bore fruit. Ficus sansibarica is 'n medium size, evergreen, fast growing tree which casts a dense shade. Plant Knobbly fig to create a tropical forest effect in your garden. The species is somewhat frost sensitive. In our experience at the Treeshop nursery, it is able to withstand a minimum temperature of -0.5C. Plant Ficus sansibarica as 'n focus point in a large garden. Knobbly fig has aggressive roots. Plant it in a large planter to enjoy this beautiful tree in your small garden.
