The White pear tree is surprisingly frost hardy. It is also marginally drought tolerant. The tree is evergreen and fast growing. Adodytes dimidiate exhibits striking glossy, green foliage and flowers in abundance – often more than once per season. White pear has a marginally aggressive root system and may grow to a large tree over time. It is therefore not recommended for small gardens. Adodytes dimidiate does well in a container and responds well to pruning. Use this method when you plant the tree in a small garden.
